Right now this industry is growing at a good compound annual growth rate in India. The good growth of this industry is one of the reasons that the cosmetic industry has been able to establish itself rapidly in India. The cosmetic industry includes so many companies that manufacture and distribute products like cosmetics products, skincare, hair care, etc. Lakme was the first cosmetic brand introduced and developed in India by JRD Tata.
